PSK automatic machine is used for connecting transfer connections and bimetals, their welding and twisting the adjustment screw. All distances are controlled by the measuring laths, and the machine is regulated by the Siemens Symatic 7 controller. The production statistics, such as the number of pieces made, number of usable pieces, or measurements conducted, are shown on the monitor, numerically and graphically. The machine is connected to the company’s existent computer net, allowing the viewing of all production information at all times. There are two alarm types: the warning alarm which is turned on when there are not enough transfer connections or bimetals and the alarm which stops the machine if a certain operation was not performed or in the case of a continual operation error. When the elements are welded, their distance is controlled. If it is acceptable, the next operation is twisting screws, done in two phases. In the first phase the screw is roughly twisted in with a pneumatic screwdriver, while the fine unscrewing is done with a servomotor, together with the measuring of the unscrewing moment. The machine works independently, with supervision are supplying of connections, bimetals and screws done by the vibrosupplier.
