The cellophaning line is used for wrapping four individual Petit Beurre packets into a joint packet. The line consists of three connected machines, coordinated and regulated by a controller. Its task is to form packets from Petit Beurre blocks and wrap them into cellophane or polypropylene foil, transparent or painted (i.e. duplex foil). Packets are formed by the “envelope” principle and, upon their exit, can be immediately sent to stores. The advantages of this kind of packaging are a lower package price and, in terms of hygiene, complete cleanness (no human contact). Since the product is packaged automatically, an operator is required for supervision, and another one for stacking packets into transport containers.
